I’ve used this business for the last couple of years to store my caravan. I’ve had absolutely no issues with storing it here. Security is brilliant, staff are super friendly and have no concerns leaving the caravan. The new renewal process the owners have implemented is super easy to use. Highly recommend to anyone looking for caravan storage and prices are very reasonable.
We originally used Charity Farm approx 10 years ago. When we decided to buy a new van in 2021 we had no hesitation in returning there for storage. Due to us starting this in the winter we had an issue straight away where we struggled to get our van out of the field as it became a mud bath and even though I had a 4x4 vehicle we continually kept getting stuck and made my car and van a total mess. I spoke about this issue with Jennifer to be told that throughout the winter we were not allowed to take our vehicles on site and she would arrange for her tractor to drag our van off. I aired my concerns about this to be told that sometime when better weather comes they will arrange for hardcore to be placed down for easier access. Throughout the summer no hardcore was placed and it got progressively worse with dangerous deep potholes etc. This again was pointed out to the owners who continued to give me lip service and problems would be rectified. Up until present day it has got to the stage of myself and another one of my friends having an issue where our motormover has been damaged where we have gone down potholes. In summary if you wish to have your vehicle caked in mud and damage caused by inadequate repairs to the grounds then Charity Farm is for you....if not sure better alternatives in the area!
Very friendly and helpful. When we were delayed in bad traffic returning after a Christmas break they stayed on site especially to allow us to get our van back in that day. Much appreciated and saved a lot of stress for us.
Returned to Charity Farm to collect the motorhome today, battery was.flat and it was clear our plans for the day were scuppered. Quick message to Jenny and her team turned into super heroes. Within 10 minutes we were jump packed back to life. We hadn't reverse parked in not listening to instructions and clearly we were in a bit of bother self inflicted. Jenny and her team again turned into superheroes, tractor out and safely pulled to safety. Everybody was so quick to respond and next time we will park better. Very happy with the responsive nature of all and prompt support to assist.
Very good storage facility. Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely onsite campsite. Will do their best to sort anything out for you.
Very secure storage with a key fob gate to come and go, ran by very friendly people who go above and beyond to assist. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Thanks
I'm not a big fan of moaning or voicing my opinion however after reading the review posted this morning I felt indeed to comment. I've been a paying customer at Merlin storage since summer 2019 and have been in and out most weekends. The development and progress has been massive, the farm is busy with happy customers and families. Jenny, Dan and beautiful assistant are always there happy to help, working on progress and future proofing the site. The technology and knowledge that must be involved to put WiFi across a site that size must be huge. As someone who likes to get my moneys worth and values their privacy and knowing that my vehicles are safe and secure under the many CCTV cameras provides great peace of mind between visitors. People shouldn't post reviews that can be damaging to businesses and livelihood without being factually correct.
Merlin storage and Charity farm has become a home from home for me and my family. We have a personal interest in this business, absolutely! We have our large construction and agricultural business based there. I personally have assisted Dan with adding cameras and many other security defences in place. There is a huge amount of technical infrastructure and engineering involved in protecting and securing a site of this size. It’s much more than just a “few” cctv cameras and a gate. There are also some security aspects that aren’t made public for that added level of security. We have personally invested in this business, we have a huge plans for the long term future of the farm this includes putting hard standing in. We are looking at bringing in approximately 3000 tonnes of hardcore at a cost of £420 for approximately 20 tonnes per load. Therefore in the short term, yes it is a grass pitch.
Great for storage very friendly people. Very secure with plenty of cctv. Been coming here for over a year and seen all the improvements. Excellent value for money. Looking forward to more events as well.
We have stored are caravan here for the last 2 years. The storage is well priced and extremely secure with fob access and CCTV monitoring entrances. Owners are great and happy to assist when needed. Owners are also investing and adding additional facilities to the site such as on site camping and toilets etc.
