If you want to live in a dilapidated hovel with disgusting foul mouthed drunks for neighbors and pay for the privilege, go to merlin. If not steer well clear. Staff are extremely childish and unprofessional, and not above telling blatant lies to avoid responsibility. We were forced to move because of harassment and thousands of pounds worth of damage by neighbours and fears for the safety of our children. Merlin conveniently dismissed complaints as historic and when new evidence emerged threatened to take us to court in an attempt to shut us up. The property we moved into is literally falling down around our ears - damp, cold and rotten, my small son is repeatedly hospitalised because of breathing problems, pipes regularly burst and flood the place yet they do nothing because it was taken as an exchange, not that we had any choice. We are overcrowded and once again living next to horrible people who are victimising my 7 year old son who has sensory problems, but it's a complete waste of time talking to merlin. I find it unbelievable that anyone would give them a 5 star review, let alone use the words 'merlin' and 'professional' in the same sentence. Maybe speak to some of their tenants before stating that they provide excellent customer service. I would give them 0 stars if it were an option.

Merlin are an absolute joke. I've put up with harrasment and bullying from my neighbours and Merlin has failed to act. I am now forced to move on for mine and my children's safety. This isnt the first time these neighbours have harrased people but yet seem to get away with it.

I would give zero stars... But they do not let you comment without at least one. This is a horrible situation that a friend of mine posted... *PLEASE SHARE* So this is the ceiling in my parents living room. This has been like this since April. My parents have contacted ‘MERLIN HOUSING ASSOCIATION’ numerous times. Someone came out to assess the damage and my parents were told it was possible asbestos and to leave it alone. It was then a further 4 weeks after this before someone came to take samples. They still have not heard whether or not they are living with asbestos as MERLIN have yet to contact them. My mother contacted them and asked if they could get the work done by a professional themselves and send the invoice to Merlin the lady on the phone told my mum that if she did this Merlin could come take down the repair and then CHARGE MY PARENTS for doing this. I think this is disgusting. Let’s hope someone at merlin sees this as I’ve tried to post to the actual page and funnily enough I can’t post photos!!! Every time someone walks around upstairs the dust is disturbed into the room that they are meant to be able to sit and relax after both working all day.

I've been a leaseholder of 7 years. Everyone I have spoken to is really helpful, some services can be a slow at times but any issues are always resolved via a chat with the housing office. Service charges also very reasonable.
