Have used Merlin for last few months. I am still loyal to a couple of the bigger online bike stores but Merlin is fast catching up. Availability and price are excellent. The rewards scheme is very good too. Having bought a couple of bigger purchases, getting a great price and then earning points for future purchases is a real bonus. Delivery and communication excellent too, would definitely recommend.

Live in Canada and decided to put an order through Merlin Cycles..... What an amazing experience that was and within a week put through another order.... Top notch customer care, prices, fast shipping and great selection. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thank you .

Online Great, Staff and customer service woeful.

I have recently bought a bike from Merlin and various other items from their website. 

In conclusion they are great if your order goes through the online system without human intervention. As soon a member of staff becomes involved, it turns into a disaster. 

When I ordered the bike I was promised pedals, on collecting the bike no pedals, which ended in a dispute, as non of the staff leave notes and communicate with on another. 

I used the bike a couple of times and realised the drop handle bars (too small for my hands) were different to the bars on the display bikes, I discussed this with the staff, again another dispute. Eventually got the bars changed and was told "as a gesture of good will we will do the work free of charge"  Wow thanks for correcting a mistake Merlin made.

I have since had to replace both gear cables as they were kinked at the shifters as a result of Merlin's staff not taking enough care when changing the bars. 

I will consider using the website in future. but hopefully will never have to set foot in the store again.

I've bought roughly US$1K from Merlin over the past two months across three packages... everything has been the best prices that I can find on the web, and has arrived exactly as expected. Will definitely buy from here again :)

Excellent products which suited my needs well. I would gladly order from Merlin Cycles again. The shipment got all the way to Hawaii in just over a week.
