Used to be a tea room serving sandwiches, baked potatoes, teacakes etc. Now is a fish and chip sit down restaurant served by its namesake - the takeaway so just serves what takeaway sells - has a children's menu. Find a table and friendly staff will come and take your order, usually very quick service. Doesn't serve alcohol but you can bring your own. Ring to see when the gluten free days are. Toilets are shared with the Thai restaurant upstairs.
Decent tea room during the day with a view over the river. Doubles as the merchant fish bar restaurant in the evening
Fish and chips not tea room. Very good haddock
Great chippy with fantastic seating right by river seven.
Expensive, but great fish and chips
Cant be faulted..friendly staff..and lovely food
This place is amazing. Eat here again and again.
