Amazing tapas! Good portion sizes. Delicious cocktails. I came here with my group of girl friends and we had a lovely evening. Perfect place for date night or just catching up over a nice meal with friends.
Every time we call to book a table at the rear which is the place to be they somehow forget about us. A second or third ask once there always gets us seated eventually. Service is unnecessarily complicated with their tablets and the fact only one guy is allowed to take your card. But the atmosphere is great, the people watching is the best in Bramhall and the food is nice enough. Put all the failings down to "character" and enjoy the chaos.
Fantastic night out at Mercato on Saturday. 5 of us met up for dinner and we had a lovely evening. The ladies had the small plate menu while the men went for the grill menu. We all had garlic flatbread to start which was very tasty. The ladies had a selection of small dishes including meatballs, prawns and Salads, which were all prepared beautifully. My husband had the Cheshire rack of lamb which he said was cooked to perfection, our friend had the fillet steak with peppercorn sauce which he really enjoyed. We washed it all down with various varieties of Gins and Cocktails from the bar. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Will definitely be going back.
Cannot fault Mercato. Service is excellent and the setting is amazing. When the sun comes out and the roof is open, it's fantastic. Great food too. The kids love it here ages 4 and 6
Great atmosphere , fantastic food with lots of choice - the fish platter was particularly good. All the staff very efficient and attentive. I’ve been twice in the past 3 weeks so it must be good.
Very good food if a little pricy. Does get noisy in the Tapas restaurant during busy periods. Service levels also seem to drop off during busy periods, eg we had to ask for our bill 3 times, which took 30 min to be provided. Overall though well worth a visit but choose your times carefully.
Great place to have Italian tapas. The garlic bread is amazing. It's a great place to drink and relax, while eating tapas style food. The roof opens up when the weather is good and gives you the feeling of eating outdoors, while being inside.
Went for my husband's birthday and was so disappointed.. Have been here loads of times and always loved the vibe and the concept of Italian Tapas... Well it's changed hands about a month ago and now it has a Normal run of the mill menu... & the vibe has gone along with all the old staff and worse than that the food was poor but with premium prices !! Won't be going back...
Been here three times, first two times were great but the most recent time two of my four dishes came with the dough undercooked, raw and inedible. Such a shame as previously was a very happy customer.
Great selection of Italian style tapas. Dishes are £6/7. Very tasty. Mostly lager on tap. Lovely semi-outdoor through the back
