Beautiful waterfall and river with a small garden, a pond and an old stone building.nnThere are a few picnic tables and an information board with the history of Menacuddle Well and garden.nnIt does not take long to look around, but on a quiet day it is nice to sit and enjoy the sound of the river.nnThe access road is very narrow and can only be entered when travelling from St. Austell direction due to the very sharp angle of the junction.nnThere is a very small free car park with enough space for about 3 cars and a small space for turning. However I would strongly advise that you park in the Priory Car Park in St. Austell next to the Methodist Church and walk to Menacuddle. There is a path alongside the road all the way from the town to the access road entrance.
Magical little place! Best time to visit is between March-June when the pink flowers bloom. The energy and atmosphere are so positive and tranquil. Not a very big place and only really parking for 3 cars at a time, you can't park anywhere and block the road as there is a care home around the corner at the top, so make sure you park respectfully.
Whilst looking up places to visit I'm Cornwall, I stumbled across this place. It was a fair drive and the weather was miserable. But....wow. what a find! This place is an absolute gem. The atmosphere was soul repairing and uplifting and I didn't want to leave. So beautifully maintained too.
Beautiful little gem of a place. I really enjoyed the visit ,it was nice and peaceful.
Absolutely beautiful place to visit. A quite calming place to visit. Would definitely go again with a little picnic.
