Whilst I was not a direct customer of Melia Mumford, their lack of profesionalism caused a 4 day delay to our exchange (the person conducting the exchange had gone on holiday, and nobody else in the office was sufficiently qualified to carry out the necessary). As a result, an exchange originally planned for Thursday had to take place on a Monday (our agent was also promised that there would be someone else able to stand in on Friday but once again Melia Mumford failed to deliver. When I rang to query there was no remorse shown nor did I receive an apology for messing up our removal dates and availability again. To add insult to injury, they then delayed our completion time by an hour because they shut the office between 1-2pm!! Story short I would not approach this firm for any conveyancing work. I note that since posting this review (they had NONE on Google) a number of what appear to pretty badly written fake reviews have been posted, take a look and decide for yourself which story is more believable....if a review looks too good to be true it normally is 😉

Jo and team were very attentive and took on our conveyancing at short notice, with a very quick turnaround. We had a deadline and it was achieved with the minimum of fuss. All correspondence was clear and concise. Would definitely recommend Melia Mumford for conveyancing. Thanks once again!
