You know that you are onto a winner when an animal physio recommends something. I had high hopes for the Mekuti Balance Harness, which I purchased to help one of our dogs after a knee operation. The harness allows adjustments to the walk to best assist in recovery. The dog moves to re-balance itself and in doing so can better use the affected leg muscles. He is a Border Terrier. He also pulls and is generally excited and easily excitable. The Mekuti B.H just made him so much easier to walk. I cannot stress this enough! He clicked with this in under 1 minute showing that despite wanting to appear deaf and brainless he knows how to think and work. Now for the customer service bit. The second harness was a great fit, but the lead supplied with it was the wrong length. Some leads had been supplied by the manufacturer at a length of 2m not 2.5m. This was recognised, explained and a replacement will be coming out in the post. I can keep the other as an emergency lead. Really great service and a really great product. Nice quality and does what it is supposed to do. It is essential to recognise that the technique, as explained in the leaflet is the only one that will work for the harness. Get that right and you will be so happy. There is a YouTube video showing the harness being put onto a dog. There is no commentary. Just watch the way it goes on and you can get it right first time. Look at the website for instructions for dogs that don't readily accept things passing over their head.
