Got a takeaway from here a few weeks ago and it was not very good! This place used to be excellent a few years ago but has obviously went downhill, we did eat all of our food but it didn't have "that taste" that seems more elusive than ever in Dublin these days. It gives me no pleasure writing this but people need to start leaving honest reviews otherwise establishments won't know what/where to improve.

I recommend the Chicken Tikka masala, chicken bhuna & lamb balti! The mango chutney, popadoms & breads are delicious too. They do a excellent takeaway too. I really like this restaurant because of the service and the staff. Good value for money.Food: 4/5

Early bird up to 6.30.  pilau rice and plain nan delicious.  Prices up since last time I was here and limited wine list.  Friendly service and I didn't need to book. Had dinner at 7.15, it was fine but not as good as it was...

Have been going here for years, always loved it. But unfortunately i had a hair in my main course, which was not the problem when i called the waiter he came took the plate away and then proceeded to come back and tell me nobody there has hair like that... it was a sort grey hair.. Couldn't believe he had the cheek to say that . No apology or offer of a replacement dish. Terrible customer service.

This is not an Indian restaurant according to the taste of food. I have been here with my husband and what we liked about this place is, nothing!! Very poor service, okish ambience, not respectful staff, and after having food we didn’t find the indian taste and the staff has accepted later that the chef is from some neighbouring country but not India. Then, why your name has India? if you want to add name of the country in your name, be honest. People will come with clear expectations and really rate you higher for your honesty!!!

We have visited here on several occasions the food  is so good and the service is fantastic  5 stars

My wife and I had dinner here before a show on Easter Monday. To start, my wife had tandoori chicken while I had onion bhaji. Both were fine, but not exceptional. My main was prawn bhuna, my wife, chicken bhuna. Again, unremarkable, but fine. I had 2 large bottles of Cobra beer. The service was attentive but somehow cold. The real disappointment came with the bill. We love Indian food so are used to it being expensive in Ireland. That was not the issue. The issue was the Cobra beer. On the bill it was €10.95 a bottle. I was sure it was a mistake, so asked our waiter. No, he said that was correct. Almost €11 a bottle. By far the most expensive beer I've ever had. This blatant robbery is what is giving our economy a bad name. This is why so many tourists feel conned. Yes, it is half expected in Temple Bar. But Terenure? In Tesco this morning, the same beer costs €2.99. A simple meal for 2, during Early Bird time cost us €79. We left no tip and will never return.
