Phone call is terrible. Always shows users busy. I understand high volume of call but it has to have queue system like other place.
Once you actually get to see a doctor or nurse couldn't fault the service always very helpful. However! The initial customer service on the phone if you can ever get through or at the front desk is atrocious and possible the worst I've ever experienced!
30 years of service this is the worst medical centre i've experienced. Staff are not appropriately trained and unable to staff the telephones; constantly engaged or continually rings. It forces patents to travel to the med centre not ideal during Covid and often be met by irate staff, mislaid/forgotten/timed out prescriptions...... inefficiency all round : Sad day when soldiers are seeing private doctors and paying for prescriptions from online sites.
Over the previous 2 years, i have never been able to get through on the telephone. When i have stood in a queue at reception for over 20 minutes which resulted in me being late for an appointment which i turned up 15 minutes early for, i witnessed the telephone ringing continuously with nobody there to answer it. They are supposed to support the Garrison but barely have the workforce to support a Regiment. It's a very poor show of support.
Absolutely impossible to get through on the phone. I’ve tried 130 times today alone. Do not waste your time trying to dial the number advertised. Instead I will have to drive an hour round trip in order to simply cancel an appointment. Complete joke!
Very poor services provided by this med centre . Impossible to get through the phone . You see medics walking around, pretending to be busy , why can’t they answer the phone
Nice people they do what they can. Never had an issue. I've got some undiagnosed issues but can't say they haven't helped as much as they can. As for veterans records they are sent to a civvillan practice the day you leave so they won't have them. Don't abuse the staff they are not paid enough to deal with aggressive ex squaddies.
Desperately trying to chase up my medical docs which have not been transferred to my civilian GP 18 months so far and can’t get through on the phone
I was very concerned about my mouth ulcer.After the course of treatment however, soreness and white patches more looks like Oral thrust are still there.so went to see the doctor again but the duty doctor Dr Thorpe refused to check and prescribe me. Considering this is more likely dentist job than him.Very very angry & disappointed how doctor treated to their patient.
They never answer. And it’s GP, health, medical service for needy. What kind of service they provide if they don’t want to hear patients problems.
