I went with a group of friends some were new to bingo..we found the callers speed was erratic..sometimes we could keep up...other times it was too fast. Also the smoking area needs urgently moving from the front door.. it blows back in to the foyer and upon leaving you have to cough your way out, it was disgusting and very off putting and uninviting.
Great club,bit not enough staff on,bar is supposed to open at 5 but is getting set up at 5 ,place gets very hot inside,and you cannot feel any Air.con so uncomfortable at times, most of the staff are great, but a few look miserable and 2 move like a snail and the slow one on the bar need teaching hygiene, she holds your drink at the top where your mouth will go,not good .
Great place, staff friendly polite, does need air con as can get very hot in there. But overall would recommend
Unfortunately I Don't Like to do a Review/Complaint but I Went to Visit Tuesday 13th February 2024 for the evening session of Bingo but I do have to say that Unfortunately I was Very Disappointed with the atmosphere in Club & Also I ordered drinks for table service via the Mecca app & it took over 45 minutes for our drinks to come to the table. Think they definitely need more staff in the Club. Feel totally Let down.
Always a good time at the Mecca Bingo, great prices on the food which is basic but good.
Good friendly night out. Atmosphere is usually good. Food takes way too long to be served, over an hour for just ice cream? It's the same no matter what you order. They closed the kitchen one week and we never got what we ordered from the app. Eat before you go and its a better experience.
£5.50 for burger and chips. We won't be eating there again. But we will be going occasionally to bingo. 1 star is for the food.
If you like to go and play bingo more than once a week occasionally I wouldn't recommend this place. They like to talk about customers in their group chat and then tell you and your family and friends you have gambling addictions
I do love bingo. I have to say there is never enough staff. Tonight though we had purchased tickets for the late session or twilight or whatever they call it. The caller was too busy emptying tables and then he said we had been kicked out of the game. No.. sorry. He was late. Its not the 1st time this has happened. We missed out on big prize money..again. not good enough. Get more staff O
It's OK, if your on the slots you've got to ask for a drink, their selection is quite poor also
