We came to town with a different shop in mind, but this place was recommended, so we decided to give it a try. Long story short—it turned out to be a great decision!nnThe restaurant isn’t very big, so we didn’t have high expectations, but the food completely exceeded them. The staff were friendly and provided great service throughout.nnThe variety of meats was impressive, and everything was well-cooked. The brisket was a bit dry for my taste and the chops weren’t that great but the rest of the meats were excellent.nnThe chicken had fantastic flavor, and it was clear a lot of care went into preparing it. I would have happily enjoyed it without anything else if it wasn’t for me being a meat lover lol. Some parts, like the breast, were slightly dry, but that’s always tricky to get perfect.nnOverall, I’d definitely recommend this place, especially to all the meat lovers out there looking for a bargain!
Best place to eat in Birmingham for Beef Brisket. Quality of the meat was on point: cannot fault the brisket. Tender and soft meat. Mash was buttery and smooth. Veg were good variety and not under or overcooked. Others in our group had chicken steak and wings and the Quality, taste again was on point. Came all the way from Scotland for work and glad we chose this place to have our dinner. Accommodated for fasting. Free water and dates. Allowed some space for prayer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I got tray 3 and was not disappointed, only thing the peppercorn sauce could have been abit thicker for my liking. Wish we had similar place in Scotland. Definite a must come back to place.
I’ve walked past this restaurant so many times and finally decided to give it a try. I got the meat tray 3 and my boyfriend got the meat tray 1. I would advise to come to this restaurant hungry the food is delicious with quite hearty portions. The food was hot and flavourful, I loved the mash potatoes very fluffy and thick. Drizzled with the peppercorn gravy you really can’t go wrong!! Would definitely recommend. Service was a little slow when it came to taking our order, apart from that everyone was lovely and I will definitely be coming back to try some different items on the menu.
Where do I start.nnThe place is like a dungeon, it was so cold inside, the bathroom was tiny, the walls were dirty, the painting wasn’t complete, and the seating area was restricted. For such costly prices, you’d expect a decent atmosphere.nnThe food…nnI got catfished worse than the nonce hunters. The Instagram images and videos were gorgeous, juicy brisket, big portions the burger looked awesome, and flavourful food. After ordering around £100 worth of food, the brisket was dry and flavourless, it was meat you’d give an animal. It was also lukewarm, if you gave it in a dog bowl I’d have thought it’s for the dog, and I haven’t even got a dog. The burger patty was dry, and the bun was like an Asda bun. It came with mac & cheese and chips with dry chicken on top, topped off with deceptive sauce, and 2 wings which I didn’t touch. I don’t know why the heck they don’t include cans in their trays/platters. Like bro, I’m spending 30 quid on a tray, bust me a drink. At the end, we took a few bites, realised we got catfished and then left. Went to a Turkish Restaurant nearby and got the freshest food for half the price.nnAnother thing I might add, why the heck are these people promoting a political figure in their business. They promote themselves as Muslim but they promote Shirk.nnAnyways stay away, trash food, trash service the guy didn’t even return my Salam, and depressing atmosphere.nnIn the image the burger tray was £25, and the other was £30…. Lol
Family meal out. We tried the smoked ribs, smoked brisket, smoked chicken, plus sirloin steaks. Gorgeous food, served very quickly, very polite staff and great service. We’ve been meaning to come here for a while and so glad we ticked it off the list. We had a great time here. It was a bit busy and it’s a small restaurant so you might be waiting if you come at peak times.nnNext time I want to try the loaded fries, they looked delicious
