Unfortunately the fish house was closed upon our arrival even though it said it was open. Never the less it was still good to see and walk around . Hopefully we can catch it one day in the future excuse the pun

Rare gem of historical buildings. Absolutely is worth to visit!

Very old building with an interesting history.

Very historic property. It is the only surviving monastic fishery building in England. The key is available from Manor House Farm. Very atmospheric spot on the Somerset Levels

Visited as part of our English heritage subscription.  Just looked through the window but you can get keys from nearby to gain entry

Anything historic worth a visit. Somerset has many many historic  places of interest, plus many historical villages and churches. Winter or summer always tranquil.

Beautiful little historic fish house with an amazing history. Set in a grass meadow which was once a fish stock pond.

Brilliant place to visit! Don't forget to get the key from the Manor Farm next to the church  you can cut through the field

I was showing a friend the fish House, and telling what I knew about it. Anyone who has never seen it should stop for a short while, and have a look.
