Beautiful little farm. Lots to see - birds, sheep, alpacas, gardens, plants and trees, as well as a cafe and architecture. Impressed with the sculptures. Family friendly and I appreciate how in the reception area with a gift shop, there were a stand of leaflets full of different activities for families, some taking place here, or surrounding areas. 100% recommend
Very friendly sheep. Saw the chickens and goats plus the Llamas. Lots of lovely veg plants. Great playground for children. Very good price £3 adult 50p children. Must go again.
Surprise green escape in Leeds within a 15 minute drive from the city centre. Clueless alpacas, friendly sheep and a couple of red cows gaze in their designated areas. Pigs and donkeys are seasonal. Charming little cafe and a hut for guinea pigs and bunnies. Nice place for a picnic on a sunny day. Bonus is the pottery workshop. Three quids per person to enter, half-a-quid for children.
Love it, food at the cafe is great and in season it is lovely. Staff always on hand and very knowledgeable. Hope to see more of it through the year and I hope they get much much needed a deserved funding!
Really lovely farm! There were many kinds of animals, including sheep, bunnies, chickens, goats, and alpacas! The gardens and grounds were also really nice to walk around. Had a wonderful time there :
What a nice little spot to take the family or even just go for a coffee with friends. There’s not a huge amount of animals but there’s enough and for the price it’s great value. There’s plenty of green spaces to play and walk as well as a play park. The cafe is nice the cakes look good.
Having read recent reviews I had low expectations but Meanwood Valley is still as lovely as I remember it being 8 years later. A lovely walk with little sculptures along the way, We saw gorgeous Alpacas, Donkeys, Goats, Brown Cows, Sheep and Chickens. My niece enjoyed the little playarea too. We didn't visit the cafe but the courtyard was lovely and well kept. Very Dog friendly! The small animal enclosure is closed at the moment, so if you want to see rabbits & guinea pigs I suggest you call to check if reopen. Lots of rocks and trees with QR codes to scan to learn about their history and a mini beast trail with bug hotel. The bird viewing station with different level holes for viewing was great, including art work to look at. Overall a great day out with a puppy and 2 year old. We spent 4 hours exploring. We will be back. The animals are spread out so expect a walk.
This is a good place for kids. Your little one would definitely enjoy as they will be able to see horses, pigs, , , etc. It is better to go at noon. There is a plenty of parking spaces and they also parking spaces. There is a coffee shop if you want to grab a coffee. There is also a play ground for kids to play. In future, if they have a few more animals, it would really be good. Overall it is good but with more animals it would be better.
Wonderful place for the grandchildren, not overly expensive. Would definitely return in the warmer weather as there's lots of outdoor space for a pack up lunch, definitely worth a visit. The cafe is very nice, cappuccinos and food are good too. Space is in short supply. I would still definitely recommend .
Really lovely place to spend a few hours on a sunny day. Chill and peaceful. Not a huge amount of animals- unless I missed some? But the pigs, alpacas and sheep were nice to see. Lots of greenery around, including crops and flowers. Picnic bench area with the river was lovely to sit next to. £3 entry fee for adults which I think reasonable. Would have been nice to be able to buy some feed to hand feed the animals but it must not be permitted.
