We are visitors to the fair city of Glasgow, and upon our arrival on a chilly, rainy Sunday morning found ourselves needing a place to rest and get some much needed coffee. Being that it was a Sunday all the shops around seemed to be closed, but alas we found a sanctuary in McNeills: Baking For You. It is a nice quiet shop with unassuming decor and simple seating. Underneath that facade you find a delicious bakery that you know has been at their trade for a good while. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and my wife and I found a perfect respite on that chilly Sunday morning. We liked it so much that we found ourselves there for breakfast every morning on our four night stay in Glasgow.

I had a full breakfast this morning (first time in this Mcneill Bakers) and boy wasit a FULL breakfast too! It was massive!! First class sevice and pleasant assisstants. Always enjoyed the home baking at Mcneills over the 32yrs i have lived in this area. Thank you all ladies who served me today.😊

Nice cafe where you can sit in or takeaway. They sell breakfast or lunch and they also make a lot of the cakes and rolls themselves

great family run bakery and the food is always well cooked, the staff are very polite and curtious, you always got what you want there so you cant ask for a better bakers and its reasonably priced aswell everyones a winner :)
