Couldn't get my card to be accepted on app or screen so went to the counter. Despite there being 3 different people waiting at the till point nobody could be bothered to serve us so after 5 minutes waiting I left. Can't comment of the food but if you're in a van that doesn't fit through the Drive Thu & you've a business payment card, go elsewhere.
We moved to the area about 8 months ago and at first this McDonald’s was great — good food and friendly staff. Unfortunately, since then the quality and service have really gone downhill, especially at lunchtime.nnBreakfast has been consistently better thanks to one male staff member usually on drive thru who is always polite and helpful, but lunchtime is a completely different experience. There are two female staff members one crew, one manager who have been repeatedly rude and dismissive. On multiple occasions they’ve spoken to customers abruptly when asked about missing items and have even handed over food in a careless, almost thrown manner.nnAs someone who has worked in hospitality, I understand how busy it can get — but there’s no excuse for treating customers this way when they’re simply asking for what they’ve paid for.nnWe’ve also had several issues with orders being wrong or incomplete, both on pickup and delivery. Missing items, incorrect items, and even orders arriving with stickers from a different delivery service than the one used.nnIt’s disappointing as this place started off so well, but something clearly needs to change. Management really needs to address staff behaviour and improve quality control.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this one needs saying.nnWent through the drive thru at McDonald’s Stretford M32 tonight.nMy drink was made the wrong size which wasn’t a big deal, mistakes happen and I wasn’t bothered.nnThe issue was getting home and realising half the order was missing, including food for my two young boys. I paid in full and simply didn’t receive everything.nnI called and drove back expecting it to be sorted quickly.nInstead I was shown CCTV of staff packing nuggets as if I was trying to falsely claim food. They showed the packing but not the bag being handed over.nIt felt like I was being treated with suspicion rather than like an honest paying customer.nnYes, I was eventually given the missing food, but the way it was handled was poor and unnecessary.nI run my own business and if I treated customers like that, I would lose them very quickly. When you make a mistake, you fix it. You don’t question the customer like they’re lying.nnI’m not after compensation or free food. McDonald’s Chester Road is one of my favourite branches. I always find the staff friendly and the food fresh and warm. However, on this occasion, not only was the food cold, but one of the items was left out of my order.nnI’ve given five stars still as this is a one off but will leave the date and time of my visit for whom it may concern. It was very busy so I didn't go back to collect the rest of my order..nnDATE OF VISITn29/11/25n1820pm
I always come here with my family. Great atmosphere and good food. I’m not an idiot and wait for the food if it’s busy. Thank you to the staff, lots of reviews on here absolutely ridiculous they charge for sauce so does everyone else.
