Set within Leeming bar services I've called in many times and always had good service. Busy at peak times but good service and plenty of parking. Always found the place clean including the toilets. Handy location, follow the signs for Leeming bar services and take the road running parallel to the A1 north.

I understand that service station locations will inevitably be busy at certain times, but the service we received was just not good. We ordered via the McDonald's App and chose a table number for this to be brought to. It took 25 minutes for us to receive our food. The app showed that the order had been completed for a long while before this, so we were actually unsure whether we were going to receive our food or if it had been mistakenly handed to someone else. There were no staff members available to ask for help, plus the queues were enormous. When we eventually did get our order, we didn't receive an apology, the food was just placed on our table. Can't fault the food though, we had a McPlant and Big Mac and they were both great as usual. Another issue was that the toilets were very unclean. Definitely think this location needs improvement.

Above average Maccies. Food hot and fast helpful polite staff. Clean and Maccies armchairs. Went at 13.30 on a Friday and it was surprisingly quiet

Fries were grainy as they were clearly made from poor quality potatoes, triple cheeseburger was dry and bun was old. Ordered two apple pies and was told to wait for them, then the bag was brought out and didn’t have any apple pies in! Absolutely ridiculous never coming back to this godforsaken McDonald’s ever again and would recommend anyone else to avoid it like the plague.

Good service, strange location next to a hotel that looks haunted, that didn't effect the quality of the food though. The service screens work very well and make the visit and experience quick. Good for a rest stop of travelling. The restaurant was clean and seemed hygienic.

First time we've called at this mcdonalds on our journey and the staff were lovely!Food: 5/5

Food is fine, just standard maccies. The reason for the 1 star review though is I've been here twice in the past month and the inside of the restraunt is coated in flys which is concerning at best. I'll remove the review once this issue is resolved.

Very quick service and hot food... Weirdly they had very few lights on and all the signs off... Which made it seem closed...admittedly it was quite early in the morning though...

Really lovely McDonald's. The staff were amazing! So polite and friendly. Food was great took.

Nice service and very clean.  Perfect for a rest especially if travelling on a long journey.  Easy to find and lots of parking
