As you would expect for a McDonalds. Location is within 3 miles of the A1. It's on a very busy roundabout, so it can be difficult to get to in peak traffic. There is parking but due to its popularity it can be difficult to park sometimes. The layout, compared to its other branches, seems compact. Staff are friendly and helpful. Menu as you'd expect.
They ALWAYS forget your dips! Why?! Not once have I ever had an order actually be correct from this branch, constantly having to go back round the drive thru or get out and go into the store which defeats the whole purpose of fast food. You choose book for the happy meal and they give you toy, or vice versa. They tell you they put the dip in the happy meal when you ask for extra at the end, good job you ask otherwise you’d get none. Last happy meal we got the chips were stone cold and only given 3 nuggets! 80% of the time the fries are cold, soggy and unsalted. Overall this has to be the worst McDonald’s service especially when it comes to accuracy and paying attention to customers orders.
After waiting for 30 minutes for our order to be ready the fries didn't look like a 1st time fry and we're cold, my big tasty complete with uncooked bacon looked like it had been dropped on the floor, half of the dining room was closed for cleaning, a very poor experience indeed
Restaurant was dirty and many youths hanging around, vaping with general antisocial behaviour. Kids area/ iPads not working. Rubbish piled up next to bins. Felt more like a staff room for Uber/Deliveroo drivers than a restaurant.
I ordered my food and asked for a milkshake but the machine was out of order then I ordered my burger and fries with barbecue sauce. When I got to the collect window they asked if I wanted any sauces and I said barbecues please but there was no barbecue even though I asked twice and it was on the receipt
Tha staff are always attentive at Blaydon. However... last night they were particularly busy and some customers had left all their rubbish on tables and floors.. I felt so sorry for them... come on people.... tidy up after yrselves...Food: 4/5
Went through the drive thru and got asked for sauces by one of the colleagues there to not get them from the other. Went to go in and ask for them but then got told the store was closed despite there being someone else in there. Had to go to the drive thru window for them to then be spoken to rudely by the same member of staff who packed the order and forgot the sauces! Not impressed.
Last 3 or 4 times I have came here they haven't had half of what we wanted to order. Last time no Spanish stack meals so we ordered Chicken Fiesta Meals, none of those either; so this time we ordered Spanish Stack meals again and again none, so we ordered the chicken one, at least they had those then it came to ordering the drinks and guess what of course they had no iced drinks at all. So once again we are not eating or drinking what we came for. I am only giving two stars because it used to be quite good. Its only gone down hill recently.
Delivery's have ruined this McDonald's. The waiting times are ridiculous when using the drive through or going into the restaurant. And even when you get it your order isn't correct and that includes if you get it delivered. In the last 6 times I've been here 5 of them have had items missing.
terrible service for delivery, spent £15 of my pocket money for food and they said on the app it was delivered but i never seen or ate my food as it was not delivered. we waited for 3-5 hours and still no food. by this point i was extremely angry and rang mcdonald’s where i was told “it’s not our issue” spent an hour on the phone to customer service which was also terrible. still don’t have a refund or my food. extremely disappointed. if i could i would rate it -10 for service.
