This place is just too busy and the sheer number of people queuing using the ridiculous system that is implemented in this place makes for massive "queues" with nobody being able to hear the orders as they slowly come out. The number of uncollected meals was growing rapidly. One also gets the impression that preparing food for delivery orders gets priority over the many people waiting in person. The process that the kitchen uses is just not fit for purpose when the restaurant is busy - especially during school holidays. The best they can come up with is for the manager to stand on the door and stop people from entering, thus forming a long queue outside. It's depressingly poor. Then, 20 minutes after ordering, my sandwich appears see photo. What a mess. Fast food? This place is most definitely not a recommended branch, but it's all Worthing town centre has...
Very quick at serving people. Nice seats with tables that can merge into 1 big one. The food is very tasty and scrumptious and pretty cheap. Also great location for a MacDonald's.
Milkshakes are to die for, in the past they’ve been a bit too icy but when I last went they were perfectly balanced mix of strawberry milk and of course, shake. Not the best or safest location but once you’re inside the embrace of Ronald McDonald keeps you safe and warm. Great happy meal too, speedy service
Go there only if you want to wait 30 min for your order. Also, don't order their plant based burger, they have no idea how to cook it and it tasted like dirt. Overall, the food was OK, but I suggest you stick to budget options if you want to eat more for less and not order their expensive burgers that you can barely get full. I've been in a couple of times over last few weeks and have noticed that the staff clearing tables especially a girl with blonde hair gives especially great service. Nice to see happy staff. Well done Worthing xxFood: 4/5
Food nice and hot, as was the coffee. Delivered to our table by a server with a beaming smile. Table was a bit sticky, could have done with a wipe over, however it was busy and may have been missed. Tray was taken from me by a gent and taken to the recycle station. Love the breakfast rolls!
Staff were friendly, and the food was fast and hot, despite the restaurant being busy. Update 20/10/22: service is slower during busy times, but was fresh, so no complaints.Food: 4/5
Fairly typical fast food McDonald's. Big seating area here and staff seem well trained plus friendly. Cleaning could be a bit quicker but so could the customers be better at being clean, clearing up after!Food: 4/5
Very very claustrophobic.. So many customers piling in and not enough staff to fulfill orders. Random numbers shouting out and all I wanted was a standard pound burger.. Yet someone who orders half the menu and is a number after me gets theirs first... No where to sit and relax as again a design layout issue so have to take away.. But least when arrived filled a gap.
This branch is looking very shabby and outdated but the food was hot and fresh we must of timed it just right. The lad who brought our order to the table was polite and friendly even though he has just be very badly treated by the table before us who thought he was some kind of idiot for not bringing sauce with him and then started on because they didn't have any sugar
