Absolutely disgusted with this place last night. Waited 20 minutes for a bog standard meal and was greeted at the counter by a woman who was not only plastered in some thick pink peeling chalk-like substance, but she also couldn't even utter a word of English. Customer service was nonexistent; she couldn't even pretend to smile. Lifted my burger bun to double check all was okay and lo and behold the same pink stuff on her face had also decorated my burger. Had nothing but issues with this McDonalds since the refurbishment and can now understand why they've suddenly had to hide the employees in the kitchen, obviously managers aren't doing their jobs and reinforcing basic food hygiene rules.
Had 2 wait in the carpark for food yet again, no spaces available as carpark so small. Food arrives by somone walking at a snails pace looking like he's been kept hostage by McDonald's. Bags of food was wide open instead of maybe folding top down to keep food warm while he having a leisurely stroll. When I suggested maybe fold top of bags he just said he was only there to deliver it 2 cars, obviously not to think for his self. Won't be going again
Absolutely disgusting experience at Gornal McDonald’s. They wouldn’t even give a dehydrated boy a simple glass of tap water, which costs them nothing. The place was filthy too — the floors clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly and looked disgusting. To make things worse, I literally saw rats running around out the back. Hygiene standards are shocking and the staff showed zero care or compassion. Won’t be returning.
Like many other reviewers here, I had an incorrect order. The cheeseburger didn’t include any cheese. Rather than an isolated incident, this seems to be a theme at this branch of McDonald’s — I’ll avoid it in the future.nnYou can renovate the restaurant and make it as modern looking as you like. But if staff aren’t able or willing to provide the correct food, it won’t be any good.
Can’t get an order right, send egg on a sandwich when the label litteralt says no egg, not only did the send the wrong drink, they sent the wrong size drink, 2 medium cokes when I paid for 2 large milkshakes, horrible service.
