23:18 on Thursday night. Just finished work and I arrive at McDonalds.nnFront door is locked, drive through only. This part is absolutely bullshit but that's not the reason for this review.nnI'm in a long wheelbase high roof sprinter van with would have torn the top of the barrier off if I'd had tried to take it round the drive through.nnSo I walked round, expecting to be told they couldn't serve me if I wasn't in a car.nnHad that happened the review would have been zero stars across the board.nnAs it happened I scared the crap out of the poor girl taking orders but I explained the situation and she took my order with a smile and a laugh. Incidentally she was foreign, my guess from the way she looked and outstanding customer service and easy manners is Filipino.nnIt's stupid that the door is closed at 23:00 but the customer service from this lady sent me away happy enough to leave a good review regardless.
The food was warm, well-assembled, and everything looked neat and consistent, which was great. However, the self-order machine didn’t print a receipt, which was disappointing – and unfortunately, it’s a frequent issue.
Been here many times food not bad for what it is , but service is very slow waiting patiently over 20 min for table service had to go up & ask where food was to be told my order had not been added to the queue, The staff member then proceeded to pick the relevant items from what I can only describe as a food dump under 2 heat lamps in view of customers, staff just constantly make food & literally dump on a huge table with 2 miserable heat lamps , who knows how long it could b there , not best practice for sure & not something I've seen at other McDonald's, after finally getting my food , people had started to queue out the restaurant door because the service was so slow, the food was fine when I eventually got it but the service was terrible no apology no free item for the child just a scowl as they had been asked to do something.
We just came into mc Donald’s cookstown to try the new Oreo frappe, we ordered on the screen as usual and my cousin went up to pay at the till the girl at the till Zoe took the money and give back wrong change when I told her she said “well it was £10 to me” no apologies or anything besides being wrong and handing back £10 out of a £20 note previously handed to her, then waited on our drinks Zoe came to the counter with our drinks and never said anything apart from calling out our number although said “enjoy” or “have a nice evening” to everyone else when we got our drinks they where half full for £3.19 it’s a bit far fetched to be honest, for a massive franchise like McDonalds I won’t be back!!
If I could give 0 stars I would came to the drive through and ordered a chicken nugget meal the chips come absolutely freezing and the chicken half cooked now tell me how this is possible when I’m collecting the food at the place disgusting wouldn’t recommend to anyone who considers going
