Very busy on a Saturday. A few kiosks were out of order and the one I used has a paper jam. A long wait for the food, which was expected. The hot drink was wrong meaning an extra wait. I returned the following day for coffee and porridge, all was great.
My first Maccas in England was commendable. Not bad but not great. The 2 stars for the atmosphere is a bit tough - the place was peaceful but my friend was vomiting in the toilet the entire time which certainly curbed eye catching scores
As a local resident, I’ve had plenty of opportunities to observe the service at this restaurant over time, and unfortunately, it’s clear that cleanliness is not a priority here. While I can’t fault the speed of order preparation—food is usually ready within a reasonable time—the state of the restaurant is consistently disappointing.nnOn my most recent visit, not a single table was cleaned or wiped down, despite it being a quiet period with no rush of customers. What’s worse is that there were plenty of staff on duty, but instead of attending to the mess, they were gathered in groups laughing and chatting. This level of disregard for basic hygiene is unacceptable.nnIf the visible parts of the restaurant are this neglected, it makes you wonder what’s happening behind the scenes.
Very slow service for a “fast” food restaurant. The restaurant is always busy and there is always a big queue for the drive-thru - perhaps for this reason, drive-thru and Deliveroo/Uber Eats orders seem to be prioritised over customers who come into the restaurant. The staff are usually friendly and often apologise for the long wait, but nothing is ever done to address it. The restaurant is supposed to be open 24/7, but in reality it locks its doors for much of the night and only allows drive-thru/delivery app orders. The worst experience I ever had here was when I came to get breakfast and had a delirious homeless man asking me to buy him a coffee - the staff did nothing to stop him even though he was bothering customers.
This location has the most wonderful manager Jordan. He enthusiastically helped me through a crisis and managed to also continued to deal with keeping this place running smoothly. This workplace has a generous, positive, resourceful manager that evokes the best cooperation from his employees. Thank you so much Jordan. You are one of the great ones! McDonalds has chosen well!
