Was able to tick off this McDonalds before the System 7 gig at the Phoenix. I was looking forward to adding this one to the collection. Firstly the card reader didn't work and I had to go to the till and wait 20 minutes for my McPlant. I'm always supportive of the staff and don't like to be too over assertive as this is a city centre McDonalds with a large student population having a burger meal. We cleared the table and it was being more that my order was forgotten than that. I feel the branch could do with a more experienced manager as the staff seem under a lot of pressure. Nice city location with a larger footfall just needs a new dynamic.
Always been a McDonald’s baby. Had a breakfast stop meanwhile coming back to Cornwall, located on the High Street.
The food was great,but why was it renovated to look like the inside of a bathroom? Nothing in the walls or decor invites you to eat. I wish I had taken my food to eat on a bench. What a cold atmosphere.
The food is mostly nice, but some burgers are so flat and sloppy. The fries are delicious, but I feel like they’re not worth the portion. Also, can we just talk about HOW EXPENSIVE the McCrispy and McSpicy is? It also takes SO long for my food to come out - the shortest time I’ve had to wait was 20 minutes - and that was even when it was night and therefore a lot less customers than usual. The atmosphere is very terrible. Ketchup everywhere, rubbish on the floor, food on the tables, little children screaming and crying their heads off. I would say that popeyes is a lot better and many other people would agree.
Food ain't bad, too be expected but it takes at least 20 minutes to get your order. Also a load of unsavoury types in there. It's not exactly their fault but feel like they could be less compliant with people screaming profanities these customers were shouting at each other not staff.
