Bean driving for 4 hours tickets to Portsmouth went to McDonald's it was clean. It was tidy. It was well set out but it's McDonald's. The food was ok. The sources were very spicy, even the barbecue overall 7 at 10
I've been here before and I will say it again, I really don't know why I bother coming to this branch! There was plenty of parking and plenty of seating available inside. The first issue was with the touch screen self ordering, this was out of paper for receipts this is the same as last time so we had a few seconds to note down the order number. Despite not being busy, it was over 15 minutes waiting for the food to be ready. No apologies for the delay! When I opened my burger it looked like someone had stood one end of the kitchen and thrown it into the box, it was warm and not hot and wasn't particularly tasty. The other food was ok, nothing special, probably wouldn't go back again given the poor service again
Service was reasonably quick albeit visit was fairly late and it was quiet. Staff were friendly and polite. Food quality was reasonable and far better than other McD's I've used around the Country.
Was spoken to very rudely by a member of the staff, he looked like a cheap slim shady. Food was cold by time I got the full order. Waiting more than 30 minutes whilst I was deliberately ignored. Very poor customer service and I will be taking it further.
A large McDonald's within Ocean Retail Park that has both indoor and outdoor seating plus a drive thru, that sell a wide range of burgers & fries with various hot & cold drinks plus ice creams, I visited recently after a shopping trip and purchased a double quarter pounder with cheese meal with a mini sundae from the self service screen, but after over a 15mins wait i was still waiting for my meal.nnThen when my number was finally called to the collection point from the quite miserable manager, absolutely nothing was good about it as the food was almost stone cold and very dry, the coke zero was flat and sickly plus the ice cream was very melted with next to no cream egg topping, a very disappointing experience.
