We waiting at the drive thru bay for 15 minutes and had three portions of inedible fries. We were told it would be a 3 minute wait, which would have been fine. We won’t be back.
Another very bad experience this evening. Our party ordered a wrap of the day. This is by far the most disgusting piece of food that could ever be served to a customer. Because one of the party was very hungry so ate a majority part whilst becoming increasingly concerned about the taste. If she gets sick we will know why.
Set in well established and handy local services including BP fuel station off the A43. Adequate parking for cars but if you're in a lorry or caravan you might be able to park on site in between McDonald's and the fuel station. Standard McDonald's, I've always had good service here so I recommend and would return.
Chicken wrap and coffee was good, and salad was surprisingly fresh, with varied leaves of lettuce, cucumber and tomato. However, fries were almost cold and either over cooked or cooked in old oil, and there was no toilet paper in the ladies, nor was it actioned when I mentioned it to a member of staff. I realise most people will see the 90 MINUTE PARKING LIMIT signs, but I missed them by entering the wrong way... most people might not be looking to stay for longer, but I was meeting family half way between us and them and did NOT expect the time limit.
I'm a lorry driver. I pulled up to a next door BP station to have a half hour break on my way back from Worcester. It was around 11 pm so i knew main entrance was going to be closed. I walked around to a drive through area. I saw a guy that works there doing something outside with empty cages so i asked him nicely if i could order something on foot. He replied '' drive through only'' to which i replied pointing at my lorry' ' cant really drive through with that' 'and then i got a lovely response "well looks like you ain' t ordering then" i know thats not how you should order at a drive through but cmon have some respect.
Visited today New years Eve, and although it was busy, things were running smoothly it seemed. Waited 10-minutes which was fine but every item I ordered was cold. From the fries to the wrap to the coffee. Already moved away when I discovered this so there was no going back.Food: 1/5
Stopped here with my parents when driving down the country. Dad got me a sausage and egg mcmuffin and it was delicious. Hot and just the way it's supposed to be. There was plenty of parking and my parents said the toilets were clean. Good stop off place.Food: 5/5
Return visit, not been here since before lockdown. Not as busy as before , good quick service. The rest of my comments remain the same Still one of the best kept McDonalds, spotlessly clean and this includes the toilets. When traveling from the South to Northern destinations we have used this as our break just prior to joining the M1. Open 24hours, and has a drive through. Outside seating mainly used during good weather , also a good size carpark
Usually good service at this franchised location. Sometimes they are a bit late opening the drive though lanes and often. Have one lane closed in the early morning leading to queues round the car park. Never had a bad meal here ; I do get a little annoyed that they are now unnecessarily charging for condiments especially after recent price rises. This restaurant is typically 50-80p more expensive per meal than other McDonalds operated by the same franchisee
The service was slow for a simple takeaway order, probably because the drive-thru was busy. Staffing levels should have catered for demand at this time of day but was insufficient. The food went cold very quickly which is something that I have complained about before for both eat-in and takeaway meals.Food: 4/5
