Started well, there was a nice lemon smell on entry and there was a cleaner milling around. Initially my thoughts were looks new, looks clean, yet like often in these cases closer inspection reveals otherwise, toilets let it down also, they were dirty throughout, even the mirrors and walls, and no soap in dispensers. Food tasted good but could of been wrapped neater. Cleaner was constantly hoovering with what looked like a broken appliance maccys get her a new one and mopping all time I was there, perhaps 2 cleaners is required.
So me and my partner love a good McDonald’s and I don’t know what’s going on at the glossop branch but how your presenting your food to customers is beyond me . I’m not the type of person to complain but I’ve just been through drive thru it’s quite no one there , we got told to wait at the next window … no ice in our drinks , our triple cheese burgers not even wrapped properly and cheese stuck on the halloumi fries and also our chips were put upside down and they were cold . We spent around about £22 on a mc Donald’s that is the worst one we’ve had so far !! We’re gonna stick to Hattersley branch after that .
I never write reviews but I’ve been here five times now and everytime I’ve gotten a cheese burger it’s soaked in grease. It’s not difficult to drain the burgers before you put them into the bun. Service is fast but there’s no point in fast service when the food is rushed and not edible.
Overall it was good and they delivered the food very fast...nBut felt the zero coke tastes different....
Waited nearly 20 minutes to get our food. The milkshake was wrong, asked but person who was serving was adamant it was chocolate. Tasted it and it was vanilla. Burgers were cold and the wrong order. This place since opening is absolutely atrocious, won’t be going back but instead to McDonald’s hattersley where the staff are polite and the food is what we ask for.
