One of the best bars in Dundee. If you have any specific dietary needs the staff and owner will happily meet them for you. The atmosphere is friendly and casual, and you'll be welcomed like family. Couldn't recommended MacDaniels more.
Quiet early Saturday evening, hopefully band appearing. Pool table shifted to make space. Beer range and decor pretty basic. Close enough to Dundee railway station for quick, quiet drink and find-the-toilet!
Really friendly pub, great place to eat and i enjoyed brilliant live music both evening I was there, staff were super friendly and the beer was good, definitely worth a visit if you are in Dundee
FOOD & service was excellent but the inside of the bar was so cold we couldnt really stay for desserts .
Good night spent here. Band were good had a few spins on the dancefloor. Prices were cheaper thanks pubs in town. All in all good night.
Great food at a decent price, friendly staff and a good pint. This pub has booths, screens and big tables. Toilets down a lot of stairs.
Be interesting to see how the V&A toff visitors get on with the rough and ready clientele here on a saturday night. Toilets are shabby. Often has bands on ... usually the same ones on a monthly rotation.
