Terrible customer service from McConechys. I visited in May 2015 with a punctured tyre. I was firmly instructed to stand behind the white line at the garage entrance and was not 'allowed' to see the nail which had pierced my tyre and apparently written it off. Further, when arranging a replacement tyre, they tried to sell me a standard car tyre for my VAN which needs commercial vehicle tyres. I pointed this out to them but they couldn't care less and said they always fitted car tyres to vans. Really..?? They then fitted the spare wheel but didn't inflate it (I used my compressor in their car park) or bother to tighten the nuts so I was left to drive on a loose wheel - quite shocking and another driver might not have spotted this. I gave up, walked out and went across the road to Caithness Tyres which offered polite and friendly helpful service, ordered the correct van tyre for me, having offered a selection to choose from. Avoid McConechys at all cost and go across the road to Caithness Tyres instead.
