Amazon local collect and google, states shop is meant to be open until 10pm. No adherence to opening times advertised online and on amazon therefore unreliable.  I turned up last night around 940pm and the shop was closed. I could not collect my amazon delivery parcel.  Another time few months ago, I attended to collect another amazon delivery parcel and lady said I could not due to post office being closed and to come back before 6pm. I work full time and busy, this is inconvenient false advertising of opening hours online.  Vegetables wise I do not bother buying - prices are too high and expiry dates rotten.  Some of the staff are spot on and extremely friendly to speak to, otherwise my star rating would be the lowest.

I don't know how the ratings went this low but this place deserve probably more stars than it got right now. Friendly service, everybody is great there. Keep up the good work guys. Cheers!

I totally agree with billy,steven&pat are the ONLY decent members of staff at the place&what gets me is don’t bother going after 9.30 because i GUARANTEE unless stevens onthe doors will be locked, it’s meant to be open until 10&its EVERY day

Worst shop ever, the staff are very rude, lots of things out of date, i bought things that were in date only to get them home and find out they were rotten, avoid this shop at all costs., well I would like to say my complaints have been addressed, but far from it, if your  lucky when dealing with one of the young assistants you might get some help if they are not on their phone. Lazy disinterested 16 year olds I think, then you got the older ones who hate their jobs, so miserable and rude, you  get the feeling they would rather be at a funeral than working at this shop, any other mccolls I go to there's no problem, avoid this one though but

What a horrible member of staff Kaitlyn is .. I arrived a few minutes before closing in the rain to purchase food for my children.. and she turned me away through the glass all smug and rude ..the only reason I'm giving stars to this review is because Pat who works there  who I have encountered many times in the past is the kindest most wonderful lady you can ever meet x shame on you Kaitlyn for closing the shop early and the tills so rude x Pat needs a raise what a woman
