Seems some reviewers have had bad experiences here.nWe moved into the area last year and so the Sandsacre Centre are our local shops.nThe McCall's Morrison's Daily is a smallish convenience store with a post office.nI've always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Like most shops these days, it does suffer from a few gaps on the shelves.nThere is a small tarmac ramp to the side of the door, making wheelchair access a bit tricky.nThe car park is curious in that the parking space are not long enough for a car.nApart from that, I can recommend it.
Easy way to buy an essential items and send your post, drop off place for evri parcels, friendly staff.
Never had a problem here, use regularly to post parcels etc, staff very helpful.
Don't take my word for it. Just look at the other reviews of people that say staff are rude. The lack of customer service skills is shocking, and what's worse, this has been going on for years even when reported. I have not been using the shop for around 3 years or more, and only go in if absolute desperate and need to post some parcels. I posted a handful of parcels and politely asked if my parcels could be done individually so I get a receipt for each one. and the lady with blonde hair just ignored me, didn't provide eye contact. Not a word. No communication whatsoever. Passed over each receipt and then when i said thank you, she said thanks in the most forced, fed up way you could imagine. Also, lady next to her give me a funny snarl and they have been like this since i reported the shop 3 years ago, so they are holding a grudge on a customer when they should be professional and treat everyone the same. Why should I feel like I cannot visit my local store and be treated this way when a complaint had nothing to do with them. Even a staff member who worked there for years, a really nice lady, had to leave due to the change in atmosphere. It gets reported to morrisons daily complaints, they send it to manager Nigel, and then it continues, because it needs taking above and beyond him. But like I say, just read other reviews and you will see this is all genuine. They treat me like i'm dirt on the floor, the way they look and not even acknowledge you. Disgusting. I just cannot beleive it still continues. Ill be going elsewhere for postal too now. About time things changed.
Went today with a morrisons gift card .nEven before I got to the till they follow you round the shop like your robbing it shocking .nThen when got to the till was going to use morrisons gift card I have been given but the attiude of the staff towards this was unreal .nI had emailed morrisons customer service before I went there and they said you can use them at any morrisons big or loacl store just not in fuel .nSo the shock of the attiude in hear by the staff wasn't shocking what was I have heard about before .nMorrisons need to look at this store and retrain there staff shocking
