Only one member of staff available.. So was unable to collect my parcel. Went back twice and still just the young man left alone. Don't think staff members were meant to be left alone.

Awful service by rude staff . Made to wait at the post office as the rude assistant was far to busy. Once served I was told that they didn't have any stamps. Totally run by untrained unprofessional amateurs... Updated 22nd January, 2024...what a totally incompetent Post Office , only two stamps available 1x 1st and 1 x 2nd...what a joke

Nice to see the upgrades done at the local shop due to take over by morrissons. Great additions to the ranges making the shop more useful. However, we have found the shop to be closed door locked when it is meant to be open and the fridges for the  chilled drinks sections seem to be randomly on or off depending on how the staff are feeling. If I'm going to the shop, it can often be for chilled beer or wine and with a lack of consistency this will mean people go to other local shops as there are choices.

I personally love mcolls. But today one of the staff said something surprising. Me and my friend walked through the door and was only in their for about 5 seconds, when a staff member said “put your hood down please” to my friend. Now we were left very confused and didn’t know why she told her to put her hood down. I mean, we obviously weren’t going to steal anything so why did she say that? You can’t just say to your customers to sort themselves out!?!

Staff seem really lazy and mostly quite grumpy. They spend lots of time chatting to each other and on the phone out the back when the shop is dirty, literally had ivy with spiders living in it growing above the freezer! Quite a few times I've bought milk and it's been off. Same with chicken I bought on two occasions. Takes them months to notice products past their best by date. Currently have dairy milk for 10p best by date is 27/12/22 1st time markdown I used to be assistant manager of a shop just like this and to me there's a clear issue with task deligation and general morale of the staff. It feels like none of the staff care about the workplace and just can't wait to get home at the end of their shift. I personally don't shop here any more, since the last bottle of off milk I'd rather travel a little further just to be safe. I only found out about the chocolate because my neice is round and just showed me her bargain.

I love mcolls but today I had a horrible experience, me and my friend were just going in to get drinks and a rude staff member with a bun told me to put my hood down, like babes what am I gonna put in there? I don’t think I can put my lucozade in there can I? Plus it would probably fall out!

This store has only just opened, and already "due to unforseen circumstances" is closed at 6.30pm on a Saturday evening. So disappointing that we can't seem to get a reliable local shop. No information about when it will open either.

Terrible, Filthy, rediculously over-priced, no-one knows how to do anything in the post office. Avoid it.

Awful. They overcharged me for 4 large letters, forcing me to buy small parcel postage because the package touched the side of the guide. Angry, aggressive manager.

I ordered some items to be delivered and was told that the delivery would be 15 minutes.... 2 hours later still waiting and there not answering the phone
