McCarthy's have been outstanding in all aspects of our move. From Tony who originally consulted with us from a safe distance through a video call to Cherise booking us in and get us set up for the big move to Tony and Simon on the move days making our life as stress free and painless as possible. It feels like everyone has gone the extra mile to make sure that we were smiling and settled throughout the whole process. I don't want to move for a long, long time but, if I had to, I'd use these guys in a heartbeat. Great work everyone!
Fantastic service from our movers, Dan, Matty, Ben and Adam. They were really friendly and a great laugh whilst packing up our old house and moving into the new house. Nothing was too much trouble for them and made moving less stressful. The whole team at McCarthy's were excellent and friendly throughout even though our moving date kept changing and the price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend McCarthy's to friends and family. Thanks again
Fantastic moving experience. Tony, Michael and all the team were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. All doors and floors covered and extra packaging provided where needed. We would recommend the 2/3 day service as this greatly reduced the pressure of both clearing the house to move out and giving an extra day to move our belongings in. Highly recommended. 5 stars. Absolutely fantastic! This was our first time properly moving house and having to put everything into storage. Dave and Shaun made the whole process so easy and stress free, even with 4 flights of stairs to deal with. Very fast and professional service, and just overall lovely people. 100% would recommend.
Really great service. Jodie was so friendly and efficient, making a stressful time between houses easier. We got a good price for a generous storage space in their winter sale. Everything very secure, while being straightforward for us to access. Thanks Jodie !
The staff were always very pleasant, helpful and willing to make changes to accommodate my storage needs as soon as the appropriate unit size became available, since I was uncertain at the onset about the capacity of storage I required. The process of arranging my requirements and payments were done very efficiently and quickly so that even when I reduced the storage size I initially acquired, the changeover process was done guickly and payment adjustments made immediately so that I could enjoy the reduction in the cost as well. I can certainly recommend the facilities which were clean, well kept, well lit and in general I felt safe being there on my own when I delivered or retrieved things from my storage unit.
Thanks to Adam, Shaun, Gary and Alex for their tireless work packing and loading then shifting it all into our new house. Lovely guys, clean, tidy and uncomplaining! Thanks for making the move so easy. Couldn’t have done it with out your and all the folk in the office- thanks! :
We did our office move with McCarthy' - Gary Collis, Adam Taylor & crew were excellent, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They were efficient, polite, and got the job done quickly and professionally. Job very well done, thanks guys.
Excellent from start to finish. Tony explained everything perfectly on a video call and the moving and packing by Gary Collins and Simon Gill was absolutely spot on. They worked their backsides off and did what would have taken us all week in two days like the pros they clearly are. Worth the money and highly recommended
Everything from the first contact to the last item moved to our new address was handled professionally and efficiently. Martin, Ben and Alfie were friendly, hardworking and quick to load all our things for storage on day one and similarly Gary, Gareth and Ross loaded and unloaded the remainder of our contents to our 2nd floor apartment on day two - I think they drew the short-straw - but they never stopped! Both teams took pains to protect the doors, bannisters etc from damage and handled our possessions with care. Would not hesitate to recommend.
