What is there to say about Maylord Shopping Centre? Not a lot. It’s just Wilko and friends. And very few friends. The restaurant is gone, the toilets are often closed, there was never a bubble blowing clock like many neighbouring towns and cities have in their shopping centres. If it is raining, this shopping centre keeps you dry. Hence the one star.

Only a couple of shops here the likes of Wilko, Sports direct and a really friendly cafe. There is also a new 24 hour gym. There is also a fairly decent size car park underneath.

Cheap, Secure parking... accessible to those who have mobility issues. Several toilets, regularly cleaned. Four Chain retailers and a 24 Hour Gym.  Should not be termed a Shopping "Centre".. this is misleading as the precinct is Very small.

So much better now Wilko has moved in.  A lovely cafe right by the entrance.

Usually a good place to park and shop  very busy at Christmas  obviously  and I'm not sure that I like the change to the parking. It doesn't feel so safe any more. But I suppose the council know best
