Came here for food today, good quality and fresh. I had sizzling lamb, omelette, mushroom fried rice. *update: Have been here a few times now…always very good food.
Popped in at lunchtime after not coming here for years. The lunchtime mune has a good selection of starters, maincourse & pudding. You pay per course rather than a set price which works out better. Service was spot.on, within moments of walking in Inwas shown to my seat & upon ordering the food was recieved freshly cooked & very tasty. From start to finish two courses & a drink around 45/50mins. The place is starting to look a little dated inside & I'm not a.fan of false flower displays, but the service & food are brilliant. Highly.recomended. Vegetarian options: A good selection of vegetarian dishes
Booked the table 15 mins before arriving on a Saturday night. Ordered spring rolls and aromatic duck for starters and two main dishes. The duck was a little overcooked8 so was dry. The other dishes were fine.Food: 4/5
6 of us visited for dinner. The food was awesome, everything was fresh and tasted really good. There was plenty of food to go around when we ordered the banquet for 6. The duck was tender and the pancakes were steamed to perfection. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The crispy chicken for starter was my favourite, followed very closely by the ribs. I would deffinately recommend this restaurant if you are out in Cheltenham and looking for Chinese food and a decent, good value for money meal.

Always have a great lunch here. Service is quick and friendly. They've taken away the lunchtime special menu so slightly more expensive but more choice. Excellent food.Food: 5/5
As lovely as their food is and a staggering minority of their staff being incredible, don’t waste your time or money here unless you want to be met with brutish unprofessionalism. The “manager” was snapping at us to make a decision, despite us being amongst only 3-4 other tables. As she was cleaning our dessert dishes she dropped a bowl of syrup on the ground which splashed on the back of my feet. Not a single apology was uttered, not a problem, I did my best to reassure her it was fine anyway. I then went to check if the juice had splattered on my coat and she thought that was the moment to snap “there’s nothing on it.” Cool, strike 2. Finally one of our guests asked for the card machine to pay, as this vagabond didn’t reply we continued looking at her, to which she replied “yes we know what we’re doing here.” I’m sure you do you halfwit.
easily best chinese in cheltenham by far, scran is impeccable every single time. never had a disappointing meal and service is very friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
