Food used to be amazing wouldn’t go anywhere else but these past couple weeks it has been horrendous. Some parts of chicken balls are pink and some are burnt. The noodles taste funny and the rice is very dry. Get the old chef back pleaseee
Have used Mayflower on a regular basis for years since it became Mayflower and before, and have always argued that it's far superior to the other Sacriston Chinese Takeaway. Until tonight! Overall, it was appalling! The two rices were hard, the salt & pepper chips cold, the spring rolls uncooked, and the House Special Chow Mein dry and the chow mein were tepid, wet, and soggy. In fairness, the Sweet & Sour chicken balls and the mushroomswere as good as always. My wife threw her meal away after just a couple of bites, and my daughter only ate half of hers. All in all, a complete waste of £33.50
get the old chefs back. pink inside of the chicken ball and noodles was really salty but aside from that everything was alr. before the new chefs arrive food was perfect!
Not bad at all. Pricey though 4 Starters and 4 Mains. I was surprised that no freebies were delivered as our usual adds in extras when you place a good sized order. Could do with a bit more honey with the ribs. Delivery was £3.50 after spending over £60.
Went in to order food, with an open mind. Had seen some good reviews and some not so good. GLAD WE DID THOUGH! Food was excellent and plenty of it, could not eat it all. Very happy to go back again
Nice food, always a good meal from here. Prices seem to of gone up but still nice. Staff seem friendly enough. No worries at all.
Always order from here when my girls want Chinese. Never been disappointed love the salt and pepper chicken and chow mein reliable service.
Used this Chinese since moving to sacriston 10 years ago and had no problem until last week, the wrong dish came so sent it back, then this weekend the correct order came but chips were missing, I rang up to be told the bag was checked and they were in...THEY WERE NOT, who on earth would lie about a bag of chips which cost no more than £2!! The girl on phone was rude accusing me of lying and said she would send the chips round, which have not arrived and was also told any more complaints would NOT be dealt with!!! I will NEVER use this Chinese again and recommend anyone else to do the same.... Rude staff, wrong orders and mediocre warm food!!!!
The food was 20 minutes late and cold. Half of the food containers had popped open and most of my food was spilled inside the carrier bag. There was an offer for free prawn crackers on orders over £15 and free spring rolls on orders over £20. I spent £25 and received neither. When I called to settle the matter the member of staff that answered the phone was extremely rude to both me and my partner and hung up on us numerous times whilst refusing to resolve the problem. The time that was spent on the phone she laughed about the matter to her colleagues and mocked us about the situation. Finally we contacted Just Eat and they tried to resolve the problem and the staff at May Flower denied everything and refused a refund... Do not order from here service is terrible and staff are disrespectful, cheeky and rude.
Had salt and pepper ribs and chips. The chips were great. The salt and pepper ribs were a rip off. Lucky if there were three whole ribs together. Little meat and for £4.30. Rip off. Won't be back.
