Mayfield school is really a very good school. The most important thing is teachers are extremely helpful, best and they be the best they can be.nTip for students and new comers: As from my own experience, if you are new, you must go to this school. They will help you as much as they can. And there are plenty of bad students there. So don't start to hang out with them. Then you will be ruined. Be attentive to study and hang with good students, then they will easily give you a medal Headteacher's award in front of everyone in the stage with lots of applause and you will be highly able.nThis is the best place to go if you want to be highly able and if you want to learn.
I have no problems with this school. My daughter goes there and My son went there and is now in uni. The education and teaching is good except for the science teachers. My only complaint is the behaviour of the children on the buses after school as they are loud, unruly and the language is atrocious.
Been here since year 7 all the way up to Year 13 sixth form. This school has changed alot since I started back in 2010, as such the teaching staff and facilities here have been improved. However the children attending this school has always been toxic with about 30% of them be the decent ones, You would find it very hard to avoid giving them a piece of your mind, which would eventually lead to a fight. Also, bullies here are rampant, despite efforts by the staff; vulnerable children should best avoid this school.nnOverall education here is decent, it is good for Years 7 to the end of GCSE, but the A level teaching staff seem rather untrained due to specification changes around the subjects, which they seem to have difficulty in adapting to, so you may find yourself unprepared for Uni, which will become your responsibility to catch up before September.
Started back in '95 where I meet my closest pals. We were a bunch of around 9 friends who got up to mischief but still got the work done. I was always pushed in all subject, especially Maths by Mrs SangaRip she made it seem so simple and my grade jump 4 grades and at our leaving ceremony in 2000, I was awarded the John Riley Maths cup and still have it to this day. It's a story I tell my kids! And always bring it up with old friends over a few beers.nnAll in all a great life experience and memories.
This school is terrible, the reason being is cos this school is filled with rowdy children who have no respect over each other. Yet this medical lady, all she does is give you an ice pack, so say if you have broken ur leg, she says i dont see anything you are all right even though yet you cant barely walk. If you come to this school your life would be turned upside down.LITERALLY. they do not give you freedom. They say they are there for you when they arent. Some teachers dont care about you. A science teacher literally started calling us idiots and so yet you go report her and they say well you have no rights to talk.!!!!!!! i suggest you not going there because your life would be turned upside down. This may be long but if you go to this school you will become a garbage man cos this school doesnt provide you with good education. most of these students dont care about their education. if you come here you must study your entire life.
