I would like to share my positive experience of Mayfield Medical Centre and express my gratitude to Dr Aval. A particular Receptionist I have met over the years has always been so helpful and polite. I admire her for what she does every day. The nurses have also been amazing, always listening, when I am sure they are hard pressed for time these days. As for Dr Aval, I can't thank him enough for the swift referral and professional healthcare when it was needed. I just want to say how much I appreciate the service.
Got a referral for a blood test , with a link attached to book an appointment, booked the appointment turned up for the test , nothing had been sent over to the hospital to say what the bloods were for.nRang the surgery to be told, oh the person who sent it post dated it and hasn't sent the referral to the hospital yet.nWhat a waste of my time , had to rearrange my shift at work so meant I had to finish later , fuming.nAbsolutely disgusting service.
Worst doctors I have ever used. Impossible to get a face to face appointment, even for a child. Takes about 3000 attempts to even get through to reception to speak to somebody and then all they can offer is a telephone appointment. If you miss the telephone call then thats it, the appointment is closed they won't try again. AVOID
I tried ringing on Friday and again today Monday it keeps saying surgery closed?nOnline it's saying open what's going on..
Having only just registered here I would like to say how overwhelmingly positive my experience has been so far. The reception staff are friendly, polite and extremely professional. The Doctor I spoke to was kind , courteous and empathetic, straight away I felt that I was being listened to and treat like a person who needs help rather than a number or a burden. Can’t thank them enough!
