Lots fabulous items. Christmas is exceedingly well represented but there is an awful lot more to this garden centre than that. One of the best based on variety, cost and availability. Didn't have time to visit the coffee shop. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Staff were extremely helpful with smiley faces. I would certainly recommend this garden centre.
Can confirm there are plants so therefore does well as a garden centre. Has a lot of non-plant stuff too. Cafe is naturally overpriced but good and is nicely decorated. Decent size of garden centre with a fair amount of parking, short walk to town centre and right by the river. Not sure where their crafting section disappeared to, used to be a good crafting section but seems to have been replaced with toys and books. Small clothes section with one changing room.
We called yesterday 16th October 2024. We ordered fish and chips. It was very busy, however the fish was good, chips and peas, were barely warm. I did tell a member of staff about, but nothing happened no apology or acknowledgement. Highly disappointed, I cannot understand why a meal can't be served hot. I will not order again now. Shame I do like the place, and we spent a fair bit of money in the shop.
Staying with friends for Xmas, in Hietton, visited a couple of times. ALL Xmas veg. excellent service, quality produce. Lovely friendly staff.nGarden Centre, excellent, bargains galore. Highly recommended for a visit. We'll definitely be returning.nSorry, only locate this photo.
We received food which wasn't ours, we had opened the sandwich to check it and informed staff it wasthen left on our table for a couple of minutes untill staff returned to collect it and gave it to the correct table. They have then taken the food to another table knowing we had touched it.
