Found this place by accident. Love it! plenty of well priced plants and interesting succulents. Supports a good cause too.
I really love coming to Mayfield, even though the parking is very limited. There is a car park further into the park, which is free.nThe plants are well looked after, there is a great variety, & I usually come away with a plant or two!nThe cafe does a variety of foods & had mismatched crockery, which is lovely . The offer vegan cake too, always a bonus!
I have been going to Mayfield for a few years as a customer buying plants which are all good quality! The cafe is really cute the food is lovely they do specials daily so something different each time my favourite with homemade leek and potato soup during December 2023.nThey do loads of fundraising for solent mind so that they can continue to provide services to help people struggling with their mental health. Myself being one of the service users can vouch for the exceptional groups and support they offer as Last year I joined as a “service user” as I struggle with my mental health on a daily basis and have with bouts of depression And feel extremely lonely. The staff are very welcoming and kind the other service users are also lovely. I started going to the craft group which ran on a wednesday but due to lack of funding couldn't carry on but I have an interest in Gardening so when I can I go to the garden group which is on a Friday. Going to the groups gives me a routine, grounds me allows me to practice gratitude, allows me to talk to others in a pure hearted non judgmental environment something that you don’t always get with friends and family.nEveryone has mixed abilities and we all work together as a team and encourage and learn from each other.nnI will continue to support mayfield garden centre cafe and service so it can continue to deliver. Thank you
Lovely place, great plant selection plus many other items for the gardener. Super coffee shop with shaded seating or full sun if you wish, plus nice selection of food and snacks. Would recommend+++
Love this garden centre. It's small but has an array of reasonably priced plants and accessories. The staff are always really helpful Nd happy.
