A wonderful evening at Maya with very attentive staff, interesting ambience / decor and atmosphere that was just right. The Shisha was very good, albeit on the more expensive side, compared to some places and I couldn't understand the price jump from £35 for normal shisha to £75 for "VIP" which supposedly is just a tabletop Hookah. £9 for a large mint tea pot also seemed a little on the expensive side, given it lasted no more than 4 glasses, but it was piping hot and fresh, which considering the atmosphere and ambience, does make up for it. By far the biggest surprise of the evening was how attentive the staff were - taking away used items from the table, checking and refreshing charcoal, bringing tea and then pouring a cup and of course, generally contributing to the atmosphere with humour and small talk. Top work, I will visit again in the future. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be ensuring that the fresh mint tea doesn't use teabags, but is brewed from black tea with fresh mint leaves added. A lounge I visited in the Netherlands did this, and the taste was so much smoother.
A cave restaurant, makes you feel like you are inside an Aladdin-movie. The service was super, staff were friendly. I think the music could be a bit more diversified but was still okay. I am definitely going back soon, I totally recommend the place.Food: 4/5

Burger was really dry, low quality. I noticed an under age girl on Sunday. Dress code supposed to be smart but people in track suit and plastic sandals just walk in, no problem. Dancer was good. Prices a bit highFood: 3/5
I was really looking forward to going to this place after reading the reviews. There was a total of four of us and we paid £250 which is not a problem. That was expected. However, what was not expected is the quality of their food. Food Came to us medium warm which means it was not freshly cooked and gave us upset stomach the fallowing day. My diet I only eat once a day so that was the only food I had. The next point is the staff at the door really need to understand that if a reservation has been made then they should let the person through especially if half of the people with them is already sitting on the table.. atmosphere was good. The food really was a disappointment between four of us we ordered five dishes and all of them below satisfaction.

Overall experience was good. The vibe of the place was amazing. Staffs were really helpful and drinks were too good. But the issue was with vegetarian food. They don't have options in main course for vegetarians. Disappointed to have cold falafal wrappe. Vegetarian options: Not happy with veg menu.

What a fantastic find. Looked for a nice restaurant relatively locally and stumbled upon Maya Lounge. Great atmosphere as soon as we arrived, great service and one of the best meals we have had out for a very long time. Throughly enjoyed the whole experience and would highly recommendFood: 5/5
We had an amazing evening meal here. The whole atmosphere is something very special. We were welcomed in a way I've only experienced abroad, with warmth and professionalism. We were made to feel very special and important. My only issue was with the language used in the music playing. A lot of "language" which I had to tell my 16year old to ignore! The food was utterly delicious, really just so well flavoured and thoroughly delicious. I had the lamb shish and it was perfect. I also recommend the cheese filled breads. The venue is beautiful and I would love to come for a longer evening and dance etc. It's also a shisha place, so if you don't like sitting with that around you, better not go. It feels dimly lit inside but it's a great light for photos. All the staff were attentive and friendly especially the Maitre D.
