The best customer service around, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Compare that to these Superstores where it takes twenty minutes to find a grumpy assistant. Fully recommend this shop. I'm not a regular.. but I will be now.
Good DIY advice frim friendly and knowledgeable staff
Visited this shop with a view to purchasing panelling for bathroom although I had no idea what I wanted. Staff were very friendly, helpful and patient and I ended up getting what I wanted with no problems. Goods were delivered promptly at agreed time. Absolutely delighted with service provided
I needed some 150mm screws to connect wooden sleepers for a garden project. The team at the Gateshead store were very helpful and shared some great advice about the job I was attempting. The shop is very well stocked with a great variety at very reasonable prices, which is gets four stars. The fifth star is for the friendly staff and their very helpful and practical advice on my diy project. Should you ever be unsure .. ask them as they are very knowledgeable. Great place to shop for anything DIY and thank you to the team at the Sherriff Hill store
Great shop and staff always happy to help
I regularly go here for all my DIY needs as they have most items i need at good prices, the 2 lads who serve are very helpful and friendly. The manager on the other hand is very rude, questions why u want things, has a bad attitude and lacks even the basic customer service skills. If you ask me the manager should be removed from the post and the 2 lads should be running it as they are so helpful ... they will probably get more customers coming back too.
Handy local DIY few minutes walk from my home used it for over thirty years, prime site as all other Diys are a couple off miles apart, has most things you need with a bigger store in Birtley a few miles away.
Prompt helpful service every time.
Went in chemist next door, but it's a good little store, but I'm hopeless at handy stuff so don't visit too often
The young man in Maxwell is very polite and respectful he would also go out of his way to help you find what you need. was lovely dealing with him. I also love his long hair.
