I went in yesterday for a full set, at first the woman doing my nails was quite friendly, then her attitude changed after I told her I only wanted normal nail polish. She was rude, rough and cut my nail, and every time she asked me something and I responded she said something in her own language to her colleagues which I found disrespectful. Especially because I could actually understand what they were saying! They even had a issue with me putting on a show called Cocomelon for my baby to watch which was just silly. Kept trying to pressure me to spend more money even though I insisted multiple times that I didn’t want shellac and didn’t mind that it would take some time to dry. Won’t be going here again.Service:&nbsp;Acrylic nails

Staff are kind and very professional and talented. I have been coming here for 5 years and never been disappointed with my nails. I would definitely recommend Maxi nails!

Hi I had a pedicure on Wednesday 21st September 2022. I was charged £40 for shellac. There was no price list on the website and there wasn't an easily visible price list in the shop either. There was an advert promoting £5 discount on Mondays to Thursdays, yet I couldn't tell if the price I paid included a discount or not. In addition I didn't get a receipt and when I offered £40 as charged in 2 old twenty bank notes, they we're refused - even though this is legal tender until September 30th. I felt like I was charged whatever they wanted and they behaved however they wanted illegally, by not accepting the money I originally gave to them. Although the pedicure itself was satisfactory.Service:&nbsp;Pedicure

If I could give minus stars I would. They are severely overpriced. Keep changing the prices despite getting the same treatment, depends how they feel that day. Take so long. Different people taking over to do your nails so you don’t have a consistent result. Nails break easily. They are overhyped. Overpriced , rude / speak in Vietnamese saying offensive stuff. I understand because I  am half viet and they feel like that because they don’t have direct competition. I hope another nail shop opens on that strip with better prices and service to beat them out the area. Solution—- go to Wood Green, Finchley and palmers green if you want good results , good prices and better customer service!!!! I will never step foot in that place againServices:&nbsp;Pedicure

Finally had my first visit today after finding them online during lockdown earlier this year. The pics on their insta was amazing and they did not disappoint. They are hands down the best nail salon I've been to. Extremely professional, accommodating, from the ease and accessibility of booking appointments to having my nails done. They managed to have me in and out the door within an hour, but the service wasn't rushed. Rather it was promptly and professionally delivered. I don't think I've ever left a hair or nail salon completely happy yes I'm that 'particular' customer. But I was 100% happy with Maxi Nails. Think I've found my go to nail salon.. thank you Maxi Nails

I really don't recommend getting a manicure from guys, it's a very poor job.  All fingers smeared with acrylic look manicured like weeks later.Services:&nbsp;Acrylic nails

Review continued  I was looked down at, treated badly and spoken to as if I was a criminal and as if I was one of those customers who does not come back to the shop and pay cash. I am an NHS Doctor, a trustworthy member of society. For me to be treated like a criminal and assuming that I will not come back with the £5 cash is so low. I was not treated with any respect at all. I do not deserve to be spoken to like this. I was so upset and just gave her the £10. I went to the cash machine and came back with £10 and the lady gave me £5 back. I left the shop at 2pm. Consequently, my entire simple manicure treatment took 2 whole hours, when it should have only taken 30 minutes maximum. This is absolutely appalling. If nothing is sorted, then I am going to escalate this matter and take legal action against this store.Services:&nbsp;Pedicure

The nails are all different shape especially the middle nail very wonky and they forgot to put a top coat as the varnish has already damaged in under a week. Not worth the prices
