Just finished eating in here and I must say that was one of the best courses I ever had. Delicious starter that was full fill, delicious main course and amazing dessert meals are big sizes with loads of cheese which was perfect for me. Staff are friendly and talkative, very helpful with choosing food and funny. Me and my friends spent a really good time in here. I would definitely recommend this place and we will come back here.
Really good Italian food and we were left very full as the portions were very generous. The service was amazing with owner being very pleasant. The food was really great and so was the atmosphere. One negative was that my partner and I both felt it was really quite cold in the restaurant but I wouldn't mark it down for this as it was tolerable.

Went here last night to celebrate my sons graduation and had a gorgeous meal, really fresh and full of flavour. The staff were excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning- thank you to the staff for a lovely evening.
Fabulous meal and the vegetarian option was delicious. The party of 12 had cleans plates, nothing left. The atmosphere was very friendly nothing to much trouble. We shall be going back and recommend you give it a try.
Really poor food. I was really expecting better quality food, especially paying £17.90 for a steak, asking for it to be cooked rare, and it was a thin piece of steak cooked medium-well with no taste. Apart from the pizzas, most on our table did not enjoy their dishes at all and advised that they will not be visiting this Max Italia again. Such a shame
Will never eat there again. Asked for little extra sauce on my seafood pasta which cost £8.50. Charged £10.80 on bill. Have never ever been charged st other Restaurants when ordering pasta and asking for little extra sauce. My daughter order lamb chops and mid meal found metal rivit in between her chops. Called Danny, the Owner who didn't seem bothered just said it had fallen out wood handle and changed for another knife. No apologies given and no discount or maybe drink for inconvenience.
Absolutely fantastic. Everyone I was with thoroughly enjoyed their meals, the service was impressively fast and the food was outstanding. I couldn't think of anything to complain about if I wanted to.
Service was quite slow, however the meal was delicious. Would like to give special credit to the chef who worked single handedly, obviously in a very stressful environment to provide 8 meals for my family along with a very busy restaurant. By virtue of the slow service, he bought us 8 drinks on the house! Thankyou very much for a good evening.
Excellent service my husband's meal was perfect. I had lasagne which is usually delicious and creamy, on this occasion it was a bit dry and pasta dry and slightly overcooked. Our mains were lovely but spoilt because the only ice cream was tutti fruitti which didn't go well with either the tiramisu or chocolate fudge cake. Will definitely go back hopefully lasagne will be perfect and their ice cream stocks have been replenished.
