Maurice Lea Memorial Park

Massive public park, very popular with dog walkers and joggers-be mindful when you’re out and about. There is a fenced off football court and static exercise equipment if you want to use it. For dog walkers there are several dog waste bins-no excuses. In the summer bring a picnic.

Well kept park. Sports equipment around the park good. Toilets open. Kiddies Park OK.

Been coming here since I 'were a lad'. Nice civic space. Come and play bowls, kick up the autumn leaves, or close your eyes and imagine the Salvation Army playing on the bandstand.

Nice to walk here during the summer, annoying that they cut down all the old trees. Great free gym equiptment to use spaced out all around the outer path of the park. Has various play equiptment, swings, table tenis tables, urban football/basketball court, tennis courts, bowls green, fields to play football. BEST OF ALL! all free (apart from the Tennis)

A nice park - we go for junior park run on a Sunday morning. Good community space and it is great to see community sport in action.
