Story

Maureens is a truly authentic Caribbean home-cooking takeaway, with a 20 seating capacity.

All our dishes are cooked using only the freshest ingredients with special emphasis on seasonal vegetables, seafood and meat.

Outside catering is available for special occasions like parties, weddings, christenings, also office lunch meetings and funerals.

We can cater for any sized party, just speak to Maureen who will be happy to assist.

Went to Maureen's on Friday as my friend Antony from trailblazers is always saying how amazing the food is...i thought i would try it and i have to say i was not disappointed...i had jerk chicken breast with rice and peas and sweet gravy...just want to say it was spot on ..i will be going again...thank you guys
Just had my first Chicken Breast special meal with chips. I was expecting a standard fillet but got a fresh chicken breast on the bone. Absolutely fantastic. The new local for the lads at City Hydroponics!!!!!
Great Caribbean food; very cheap. But the restaurant also serves take away so don't expect immediate attention. Staff mostly very cheery. The place itself is very basic and could definitely do with a good coat of paint and a new door lintel and furniture.
Ordered some food for my father in law's birthday tea and we all loved it, food was delicious and staff friendly when collecting, can't wait for my next meal from here
