I was treated with care and respect at the A&E Mater hospital yesterday. From reception staff through triage and then doctor Ollie and practitioner nursing staff 5 star treatment throughout. All this in a most busy emergency department with standing room only. A very big thanks to all the hardworking staff.
Great doctors, very kind and attentive to patients needs, but the front desk’s receptionists could learn a bit from their doctors I think on being a bit more attentive and kind. I know they see their fair share of annoying people maybe but that cannot be an excuse to be not kind when talking to a patient.
Hi my name Salim chaid been at a mater hospital at cardiology word f waiting for a big operation open heart one my experience was a mazing what staff excellent staff nurses everyone where ever a time I spent there before my operation I have been looked after just as a king from everyone from lewis from mole from magan from collet from venie from everyone the international Norse to the people from hear I will say a massive thank you to everyone I have done my operation was not the easy one but was successful and because the people from mater hospital and specially from word f they give me a masive confidence and masive courage to do it thank you and thank again I love all of yous thanks again Salim chaid
I attended A&E here on Friday. The staff had just transitioned to a new IT system and it was clear that there were a number of hiccups going on because of it. Despite this, every staff member who I saw was efficient and kind. The wait wasn't too bad considering how busy it was. Special mention to Doctor Jeremy who was just absolutely lovely, so caring and thorough.
Was in the level 5 overnight stay ward yesterday for surgery only a day procedure I wasn't being kept in but I must say every single nurse in there do an amazing job, all very caring and attentive towards every patient. They couldn't do enough for you, they provided a really high standard of care. They really went out of their way for me and other patients in the ward. I could sing their praises all day lol. Every single one of them are worth their weight in gold, such nice people with hearts of gold. Mary, Sigy, and every nurse that looked after me on the ward thank you so much. Dr dawson, my amazing surgeon talked to me like a friend, had a good laugh and chat with her. The nurse in theatre Michelle who was so comforting/a good distraction and Daniella. In recovery nurse aisling looked after me and got pain relief right away. Mary the nurse from level 5 was with me every step of the way during my surgery from bringing me down to theatre, to being there as soon as I woke up and as soon as we got to the ward she went out of her way to make me tea and toast right away. Thank you all so much for your care
