Course was in excellent condition for the time of year. However, the temporary greens were an absolute disgrace. Honestly, I expected better from such a high profile club. There is no encouragement to use it again during this time of year. It's such a shame as it is a great course.
It was ok for the time of year, played it in better conditions obviously! Greens weren't great, not worth the £25 a head 16 of us because of the greens imo
Excellent golf course. Very well presented, very mature trees, great fairways and greens. Bring your best long iron or fairway wood game. Some challenging par 4s and 5s.
Excellent service from the new bar manager on site! Two very different nines make for an enjoyable day on the course.
Played here with a society what an excellent course in great condition,a real test of golf.The tees fairways and greens where of top quality,as was the food hospitality and service.Food was priced sensibly and represented excellent value ,it was fresh tasty and attractively presented.They must have very good chefs and kitchen staff. The waiting staff were top quality very attentive, friendly and very efficient.I would highly recommend the experience to others and will be keen to return

Ballyclare Golf Club course was closed, Masserene was open and very playable at a reasonable price. Would be keen to return in better weather. ‍
Absolutely stunning course, great layout and visually every hole has something to please the eye. Would definitely recommend it to all categories of golfer. Would have got 5 stars but for the fact there is a lot of ground maintenance going on at the minute but it shouldn't affect your round, will definitely be going back, can't wait to see how it looks when everything is done.

Very good golf course kept in top shape! Really enjoyed dinner as well after the round. Great golf, food, drink & craic! Hidden gem in Northern Ireland.
