Brilliant food and delicious service! Rumbly rumbly in my tummy… I did not eat all day in preparation for my “Massala Lounge” meal. Hours waiting in anticipation… with high expectations they were EXCEEDED with flying colours! Firstly, I love the entertainment provided via the telly above the stairs, my family and I enjoyed it greatly. The naans are freshly made, fluffy, puffy, cooked to perfection, and overall spectacular, and my brother requested I write about the vegetables provided with the “mixed meat starter” - “it’s crunchy and delicious” - Adam circa 2024. To top off the divine, scrumdiddilyumptious, exquisite meal- the top class, perfect way to end the meal, a minty chocolate. Come here if you want exceptional service and delicious food. So I'm not one to really leave reviews but this is a must I asked for a chicken balti slightly hot it's came so hot I was crying trying to eat it. I returned to the shop with my food and I wanted a curry not so hot I've ate vindaloo and shall but this was something else so as I stood in the shop waiting for my next food to be prepared I pulled a hair from my mouth that was half way down my throat for the last 10 minutes of driving to the shop and it was 150mm long grey hair, it was Identical to the owners beard I no longer use this shop and will never do this will haunt me for the rest of my life
Mum and Daughter night out Found staff miserable and rude one member in particular, argumentative with what we ordered Food we had Lamb chops and onions bhajji Curry we had Lamb karahi and chicken Dhansak, rice and Nan bread, popadoms Bhajji has No taste Lamb chops hardly any meat on them, missing taste Chicken Dhansak too spicy supposed to me a mild curry Chicken was a bit rubbery Lamb karahi had just a load of green chillies thrown in it couldn’t eat it When we were leaving not a single one of the staff got the door for us just stood at the bar Had better curry elsewhere Staff need customers service updating Such a shame Not happy!!!!!
Food was amazing, service was 100%. Thank you soo much kamal, looked aftered us, had a beautiful experience. I will come gain! No one will regret coming here too. Thank you to the whole staff at Masala Lounge.

Went last night for the first time, celebrating a friend's birthday. The food was absolutely delicious. The lamb biryani was to die for beautifully tender chunks of lamb. Chicken korma was a hit too. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good price too. It was busy which is a good sign. Will definitely visit again.Food: 5/5
Been going to the Massala Lounge for years always great service and food.Food: 5/5
Onion bharji needed seasoning, it was bland. I've never seen an olive or sweetcorn garnishing a bharji. Pickle tray was nice and poppadoms fresh. Veg karahi was v mild and ok, nothing special. Rice and bread were good. Service was good and polite but a bit rushed. We were not asked if we needed more drinks.Food: 3/5
