A heartfelt thank you, as from day one we were embraced and looked after by the Lucking family. We lost Dad unexpectedly, but they guided us through each step of the process, under no pressure to make quick decisions. They conducted a beautiful and seamless funeral, which made for the perfect goodbye and for that we are eternally grateful. I would highly recommend Lucking & Sons to enact on the last wishes of a loved one in a caring and personal way.
Absolutely amazing service for my dear brother, taken way too soon. Darren is the most kindest, understanding man, and we felt so supported and genuinely cared for, whilst the family organised the special day. Through this difficult, unbelievable time, we couldn't have wished for a more amazing send off. From the bottom of Darren 'Dalton' Green's family, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. I will love you forever little Bro, Love from your big sister Caz.
Roy and his courteous team took the greatest care of our mum for her final journey. Roy walked with us on this saddest of journeys and the support and guidance through this difficult time made it so much easier. The little touches and respect they all had for mum was wonderful. M Lucking & Sons assisted us with the funeral arrangements for our father who passed away in December 2022. Amazing support from the first introduction and seamless process throughout which a very difficult time a little bit easier. Can't recommend them enough.
We chose M Lucking & Sons for my dad's funeral from a recommendation. I'm so glad we did. Roy was professional from the very beginning, helping me through a difficult process in a kind and caring way. On the day him and his team were respectful, professional and unobtrusive. They were immaculately turned out, we had several compliments from our guests regarding this and their conduct in general. I have no problem in giving them a 5 star recommendation and to say a huge thank you to Roy and the team.
Given the circumstances, Lucking & Sons went above and beyond in everything they did. From the initial meeting, it was immediately obvious that we were going to choose this company. Outstanding customer service, providing advice and answering questions that we hadn't even thought of, we were put at ease during such a terrible time. Everyone we encountered were beyond professional and displayed customer service to a level that I'd not encountered for a long time. Thank you for providing a beautiful closure to my dad's life. I'll never forget it and would 100% recommend this family run business to anyone that requires their services. Thank you.

My family used Lucking & Sons only yesterday to say goodbye to our Dear Mum. They were amazing! From the very first meeting with them to the final goodbye you really couldn't get nicer helpful people to arrange this awful time for you. The horses and carriage were absolutely beautiful and their service 10 star not 5! Darren is just lovely, they all are. Would highly recommend them!
