Very poorly maintained website and no one answer the phone. I am not wonder why kids and young generation is away from mosque. In the days of prophet and sahaba, mosque used to be centre of social gathering and activities but now it's just a prayer place. Trustees and imam should think about it. Thanks

Masjid Umar in Nottingham is no different to most Masaajid where it only accommodates daily prayers, congregational prayers and Ramadan activities. This is not what the Masjid an-Nabawi in the Prophet Muhammad's time only served to the community. There is so much more this Masjid can offer its community but it refuses to, which clearly demonstrates the trustees of the Masjid not knowing what they are doing. However, there is another Masjid nearby that does extend its services and activities to the wider community but unfortunately it is headed by a person who compromises the religion and accepts handouts from areas which are deemed to be forbidden in Islam. One star rating at the moment and could potentially increase if the management team starts thinking more about the citizens of Nottingham.
Beautiful Masque and community centre they offer QURAN classes Specially for young kids to learn Quran , Islam , general knowledge and development of morally and spiritually.Best community centre in east Midlands.very well organized big halls for Ladies and men Imam is very knowledgeable
There is a separate section for Men and women, and a separate entrance for ladies as well , the mosque is so peaceful and clean, but you have to park your car away , because there isn’t a car parking there.
A very nice Masjid on the Quran and Sunnah ahle hadith. A lot of space over a few floors to occupy a lot of people.
Beautiful place and diverse as so many Muslims from different backgrounds come together here. Beautiful recitation of the Quran and great Khuttba by the Imam.
